Our Journey
Founded in 2016 by renowned nonprofit leader Ceil Folz. Following her long career in nonprofit leadership and event production on the national and international stage, she founded CFC with a desire to bridge the gap between sports and philanthropy. Seeing that athlete and sports foundations seldom had the breadth of expertise or personnel to achieve their dream, she created CFC Collective, bringing together a team of experts to become the “in-house” team for our clients, including fundraising, event planning, foundation governance, marketing/PR and philanthropy.
Our Purpose
With 100+ years of combined nonprofit and philanthropy experience, we serve clients from their dream to creation and execution. Our work is always driven by our client, working in collaboration WITH YOU AND FOR YOUR PURPOSE. We focus solely on athletes and sports foundations, so we realize the unique challenges and opportunities in this space.

Panthers Christian McCaffrey pays off layaways for 363 military families
While he might be out for the rest of the season with an injury, Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey is still making sure to give back to the community this holiday season.
Earlier this week, McCaffrey and his Christian McCaffrey Foundation surprised 363 military families in the Carolinas by paying off their layaway balances thanks to a partnership with the nonprofit organization Pay Away the Layaway.

Why Christian McCaffrey values military service as NFL Salute to Service winner
Running back Christian McCaffrey was named the recipient of the NFL's 15th annual Salute to Service Award, presented by USAA.
The award recognizes the exceptional efforts made by members of the NFL family to honor and support the military community, per the 49ers website.

Logan’s legacy: 49ers star Christian McCaffrey and the young fan who inspired his hero
Logan Hale loved Christian McCaffrey.
Born in 2008 in Connecticut to a Northern California native, Logan was about 7 when he became a big football fan. He began following McCaffrey, who starred for Stanford at the time and would be drafted by Carolina in 2017, instead of local stars.
